Championship Off Road Racing

Josh Baldwin has been dedicated to the sport of off-road racing since the inception of Baldwin Racing in 1989. His family’s love for the competition and intensity of off-road racing lured Josh into what has become a ;true way of life. From the wide open deserts of Baja California Mexico to the hard core wheel to wheel action of CORR, Josh’s experience and desire to win have brought him to the top of his game in the SCORE Desert Racing Series and the Championship Off-Road Racing short course series. 

The roots of Josh’s career began early the 1990’s while co-riding with his father in class one unlimited race cars and racing motocross. The experience of traversing countless miles across the deserts of Baja California and the western United States with his father gave him the foundation for what would be instrumental in his future endeavors as a race car driver. Upon reaching his sixteenth birthday Josh was given the opportunity to campaign a "1/2 1600"* desert buggy for the team. While competing in this class he gained the skills to drive a "Class One"** Unlimited desert buggy. Racing unlimited buggies, he learned to mesh the skills taken from his "1/2 1600" car and the increased horsepower and handling of the "Class One" car. Running at speeds in excess of 110 mph across the desert and negotiating the large car across and around technical terrain, Josh developed his driving talent to step into a SCORE "Trophy Truck"*** 

In 2002 Josh Baldwin joined his brother Jason in the CORR series. He has taken the valuable information accrued from his years in desert racing and adapted his driving style to suit the intense format of short course racing. Weather soloing the Baja 1000 or winning the Governor’s Cup Challenge Josh is on a path to success in both the desert and short course disciplines of off-road racing. Josh presently campaigns a “Trophy Truck” along with a Pro-2**** and a Pro-4*****.
